In early 1997, we reported
that Shimadzu Scientific Instruments had sued several customers. We noted at the
time that it probably wasn't the last time that Shimadzu would file suit against
one of their valued customers. Incredible as it may seem once again, Shimadzu has
not changed their suing practices as noted below! A civil court clerk reports that
out-of-state phone calls have been made to the district court inquiring about Shimadzu's
aggressive tactics. Anyone can verify Shimadzu's incredible actions by picking up
the telephone (410-461-0213) or requesting a copy of the public court file by writing
to:
District Court of Maryland for Howard County
3451 Courthouse Drive
Ellicott
City, MD 21043
(be sure to specifiy case #)
In addition, we understand
from a civil court clerk that Shimadzu is in a projected court battle with another
customer. Shimadzu filed suit against ChemEnco Inc back on May 9, 1996. That case
was appealled (Case # 13C97-36802) to the Circuit Court of Howard County. Once again,
anyone can verify Shimadzu's amazing actions by picking up the telephone (410-313-3844)
or requesting a copy of the public court file by writing to:
Circuit Court
of Maryland for Howard County
8360 Court Avenue
Ellicott City, MD 21043
(be
sure to specifiy case #)

agrue justifiably that President Bill Clinton is a hound dog in heat.... any chance
that Mr. Halperin is remotely related to the president?)
Do you know
someone who has been sexually harassed at Shimadzu.... email

(Your identity will be respected and treated in a discreet manner!)
How
many credible reports of sexual overtures/impropriety/harassment do you think that
Mr. Gerry Carder (VP, Administration) has received during his tenure at Shimadzu?
n.b. Shimadzu's actions are
pugnacious! How do you think that your questions and concerns will be received and/or
addressed when you have a problem with Shimadzu's products or services. Take your
business elsewhere before you get burned badly!
n.b. As noted under Shimadzu
Terms & Conditions, when Shimadzu sues one of their valued customers, litigants
are forced to travel to the courts of Howard County, Maryland to do battle.... no
ifs, ands or buts!
n.b. If these are the conditions under which you have to
do business with Shimadzu - why bother.... just buy from a reputable

(Editor's note: It would seem
that the crafty techniques used by Shimadzu are akin to the sneaky tactics that the
Japanese used in their surprise air attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii!)
